BODIES...The Exhibition is an exhibition displaying actual human bodies and specimens. This exhibition is organized by Atlanta-based Premier Exhibitions, Inc., the leading provider of museum quality touring exhibitions around the world.

The study of human anatomy is very important in medical education. BODIES...The Exhibition enables the visitors around the world to have access to anatomical detail of human body historically only accessible to medical professionals. BODIES...The Exhibition have over 200 actual human bodies and specimens  meticulously dissected and respectfully displayed, offering an unprecedented and wholly unique view into your amazing body.

Since the earliest efforts of ancient Egyptians to distinguish individual organs, humankind has been fascinated with uncovering the secrets of the human body. The study of human anatomy remains a cornerstone of medical education. BODIES...The Exhibition provides millions of visitors around the world with unprecedented access to anatomical detail historically only available to medical professionals.

Using an innovative preservation process, the Exhibition allows you to see your body's inner beauty in ways you never dreamed possible. Our exhibitions have over 200 actual human bodies and specimens meticulously dissected and respectfully displayed, offering an unprecedented and wholly unique view into your amazing body.

Bodies The Exhibit

Specimens in the Exhibition are prepared through a revolutionary process called Polymer Preservation, in which human tissue is permanently preserved using liquid silicone rubber. This process creates a specimen that will not decay, offering thousands of unique teaching possibilities for eduators at all levels. Preparation time varies: a small organ may take only a week, while a full-body specimen may take up to a year to prepare. After quality preservation, specimens can last for decades.

In BODIES...The Exhibition, students will see real human bodies dissected and preserved to show the intricacies of each system of the body. The Exhibition showcases the effect that disease and unhealthy life choices have on the body- what happens to the lungs, for example, when people smoke. Students will also see how positively amazing the body is- how the pulleys, fulcrums and levers we know as muscles, joints and bones let us function continuously without even thinking about it.

BODIES...The Exhibition provides an unprecedented opportunity for learning science, human anatomy, physics and biology. We offer comprehensive, award winning Teacher's Guides for elementary, middle and high school levels with experiential classroom activities aligned to both National and State curriculum standards. What is human body exhibit?

Human body exhibit is an an exhibit showcasing real human specimens, preserved through a process called plastination, developed by a German anatomist Gunther von Hagens, in which the water and fat are replaced with acetone, then silicone. This liquid silicone preserves the human tissue, leaving the body completely plasticized at a molecular level. The exhibits also includes organs, body parts and displays about the skeletal, muscular, reproductive, respiratory and circulatory systems. A section of the exhibit will detail the growth cycle of the human embryo in 16 stages beginning from the second week.

Only a few years ago, it was unimaginable to dissect the human body and exhibit it to the public, as this would pose related problems to human dignity, ethics, and religion. This kind of exhibit can already be staged today, however, as life and medical sciences are ever developing, triggering the public’s curiosity about the body’s structure.

Through the exhibit, people will easily understand the process of birth, aging, sickness, and death, and will realize the mystery of life. People will indeed realize the value of health and life by seeing healthy and sick organs on display. The exhibit is not only a visual delight but also an educational medium that will help unravel the mysteries of the human body better than any existing scientific materials.

The Human Body exhibit has been seen around the world. Some exhibition companies had pioneered and promoted such exhibits. One of them is Our Body: The Universe Within which started its exhibitions in 2007.  Body Worlds, a company from Germany, hold the first exhibition in 1995 in Tokyo. Premier Exhibitions also produces such exhibitons called BODIES ... The Exhibition.
